My First Taser First Person Shooter Now this was a fun one! I was challened with having to take my animation I created and create a real video using a real version of the fictitious toy I masterminded. Hmm...Well I couldn't really create a kids version of a Taser, so I decided to use some visual effects! After brining a bunch of friends over and their kids, we had a moch birthday party and created a first person shooter from the point of view of a little kid. Take a look at how it turned out, Enjoy!! MyFirst Taser Animation I was presented with a task in a class I took, to promote a fictitious kids toy. Well being that I was bored with all the "traditional" toys out there, I decided it was time to spice the market up! The challenge was to create a flash animation to promote this new toy. Special Effects with Sam A while ago my friend Sam Koepnick wanted to be part of a few video tests. The first idea was to take still images in front of a green screen then turn the images into motion so that we could create a video game. I took the images and made it look 16-bit and opted to kill Sam off in the game. Next Sam decided to train as a dark sith lord...well, it didn't turn out too well for him to say the least. Enjoy! Missile Hitting Chicago FX Test Here's another FX test that I quickly put together to try out the new Optical Flares plug-in from Videocopilot.net. The footage was mainly stock footage or created in After Effects. No buildings where actually destroyed nor do I have the launch codes to fire from the secret missile base that is orbiting the Earth. Iron Man Cockpit FX Test Yes, I know a lot of people have tried to make their own, and a lot of them started from the tutorial from videocopilot.net. Well, even though I took some pointers from Andrew Kramer, I decided to take a different design than everyone else. I tried to make it a bit closer to the cockpit design you see in the Iron Man movies, yet keep it different for copyright reasons. Christmas DVD Opening/End Credits Recently we put together a Christmas DVD for a private party. While we can't show you most of the 1hr long Video, we would like to share with you the Opening and Ending portions of the DVD as well as show you some brief footage taken by the Sony HVR-Z5U during the recent winter storm. Documentary: Soul Travel I was challenged in one of my collage classes to produce a way to present my report in a non boring way (like reading it monotone from a piece of paper). What better way to do a presentation on Soul Travel, than to produce a short educational documentary on it.
